It's that range of experience that helps our clients benefit from treatment that's as unique as they are.

Elise Meger

Mental Health Practitioner

I genuinely understand what it’s like to feel as though you’re an outsider and different. I was born with a birth defect called Spina Bifida and am therefore physically disabled. I use a wheelchair and crutches to navigate the world. Although this is a part of who I am, it does not entirely define me.

I genuinely understand what it’s like to feel as though you’re an outsider and different. I was born with a birth defect called Spina Bifida and am therefore physically disabled. I use a wheelchair and crutches to navigate the world. Although this is a part of who I am, it does not entirely define me.

Defining oneself and discovering your own inner truth in the face of adversity can be challenging. I can say from personal experience that psychotherapy was immensely helpful on that journey. One of my goals in life is to pay it forward by joining others on their quest.

I enjoy working with adult individuals of vastly diverse backgrounds and experiences, customizing the therapeutic process to fit the needs of each client. I believe diversity is what makes life interesting. Each of us is both student and teacher and I look forward to accompanying you on your path toward inner growth!

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
