Kristine Martin

LPCC

I guide clients in creating awareness from a sensory level towards what it means to FEEL more peace and equanimity in their minds, bodies, and hearts.

I provide guidance to clients seeking greater balance, self-acceptance and tools for managing personal problems. I specialize in working with people through a multidisciplinary approach, fostering collaborative therapeutic experiences with couples, families and individuals. I support clients in creating an internal awareness of what their emotional challenges are, and how to facilitate change, in a heart-centered way.

I approach therapy from a strength-based perspective, knowing that our fears, sadness, anger, trauma and relationship problems can be openings to the best and most authentic parts of ourselves. I guide clients in creating awareness from a sensory level towards what it means to FEEL more peace and equanimity in their minds, bodies, and hearts. Often, we can cognitively understand how to feel better. Yet, it is another layer of healing to experience and know it in our beings.

My theoretical background pulls from many traditions of healing that include traditional psychology to cognitively understand who we are and the origins of why we behave the way we do, neuroscience as a means to understand mechanically what happens in our brain and the physiology of emotions, and, energy healing which integrates 5th dimensional light, the highest light on the planet at this time and releases cellular patterns of reaction and unconsciousness.

I have found in my work that most are ready for a new approach to looking at themselves; transformation of the soul is coming to know love and peace in our hearts.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
