“We all need help from time to time. If this is you, you don’t need to do this alone. I will help you to figure out what isn’t working effectively in your life and together we can work to restore your quality of life by building greater coping skills.”

Life can be filled with challenges today that can seem insurmountable, and society tells us we have to be strong and independent, leaving us to feel we’ve got to figure out our own problems and quickly move on with our lives. We all need help from time to time. If this is you, you don’t need to do this alone. I will help you to figure out what isn’t working effectively in your life and together we can work to restore your quality of life by building greater coping skills.

I have dual licensure in chemical and mental health with a focus on co-occurring disorders and have worked with many issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, co-dependency, trust, and anger management. If your need is to build a recovery lifestyle, I can coach you with lifestyle changes necessary to support it.

I have experience working with men, women, adolescents, and LGBTQ clients. I have a wealth of life experience, including a background in financial advising and career development. I have strong analytical skills and a keen sense of human nature and I am told I have a calming presence.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
