The desire to feel seen, heard, and understood is universal and is an essential part of human wellness. I try to help people understand, both emotionally and intellectually, the deeper roots of their difficulties and reignite their own natural gifts for learning, growth, and resilience.
Congratulations for being brave enough to admit you need help and for making this first step towards improving your mental health. I believe every person already has in them what they need to heal, and my role is to offer an empowering, judgement-free zone that provides support for you to as you learn and grow.
Painful experiences can leave us feeling fractured or cause us to disown certain emotions or even parts of who we are. In therapy we can learn to nurture these parts of ourselves and move towards wholeness, authenticity, and healing.
I believe when given a safe and supportive place to explore our experiences and ourselves, we have the ability to gain awareness of our potential.
I am a Korean American, Korean-Adopted, clinical psychologist with many years of experience working with individuals around healing through a decolonized lens.
