I aim to create a warm and judgment free zone by utilizing a person-centered approach, Health At Every Size principles, and an array of mindfulness, self-care, and self-compassion tools.
I specialize in working with people in life transition, especially those that find themselves wrestling with past trauma, attachment concerns or family of origin issues. I also enjoy working with young adults who are navigating what it means to be an adult in this ever changing world.
Painful experiences can leave us feeling fractured or cause us to disown certain emotions or even parts of who we are. In therapy we can learn to nurture these parts of ourselves and move towards wholeness, authenticity, and healing.
I believe when given a safe and supportive place to explore our experiences and ourselves, we have the ability to gain awareness of our potential.
I am a Korean American, Korean-Adopted, clinical psychologist with many years of experience working with individuals around healing through a decolonized lens.
