Brianna Sigg

Licensed Graduate Social Worker

While everyone’s experiences are unique and their own, my aim is to provide a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment for all people while using a combination of therapeutic modalities that best align with your self-determined goals.

By seeking out therapy, you have already started to invest in your mental health and I applaud your courage and openness for potential change and growth. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life and experiences, so finding the right therapist for you is an important step in your therapy journey. I always try to be empathetic in my practice, where I make every effort to meet clients where they are at and partner with them to meet their therapeutic goals. Serving clients of all ages, I feel that by fostering a supportive, strengths-based, and non-judgmental environment, clients can continue to build upon coping skills while increasing self-reflection that can help to improve quality of life.

My professional experience includes 8 years of working with diverse individuals and families in a variety of different roles, including mental health case management in the community, group homes, domestic violence shelters, hospital level of care as well as day treatment for children and adolescents. I have knowledge in many areas but would love to partner with you to address topics related to depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, gender identity, sexuality, life transitions, chronic illness, and chemical dependency. I strive to provide a safe and open environment for people who identify with the LGBTQ+ community and I have also spent a lot of time working with individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders and other SPMI diagnoses. While everyone’s experiences are unique and their own, my aim is to provide a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment for all people while using a combination of therapeutic modalities that best align with your self-determined goals.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
