Kamila Stafin

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I create a warm empathetic atmosphere, providing ease and comfort to process feelings no matter how difficult.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), experienced working with individuals, couples, and families. I create a warm empathetic atmosphere, providing ease and comfort to process feelings no matter how difficult. My treatment modalities include Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Techniques.

I take on a respectful, curious, non-blaming approach, perceiving each client as the expert on their own life. My goal is to empower each client, and guide them along the journey towards their best self. As life may appear black and white while experiencing hardship, I choose to incorporate humor when appropriate. As I value the client-therapist relationship as one of the main predictors in therapeutic success, I am always open to feedback about how our session is going and welcome you to share your feelings and needs.

My clinical interests include adolescents, young adults, and their families. I work with a variety of issues including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, stress, coping, life transitions, blended families, premarital counseling.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
