Leah Seeger

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

If you are struggling, I want to hear your story. I bring patience, creativity, and a passion for understanding you to every session. Come as you are; we can figure out the next steps together.

I believe healing starts when you feel safe and know you are being heard. So that is the environment I work to create; a place where you feel safe; a place where you can discuss what is important to you without judgment; a place where understanding, empathy, and honesty are the highest priorities.

I became a therapist because I appreciate the power of connection in approaching life’s struggles. I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and since 2014, I have worked to help individuals, couples, and families struggling with addiction and mental health issues. I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, as well as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota.

Whether you, or someone you love, is facing an addiction, a mental health concern, a family conflict, or a transition in life, I believe there are options we can explore together. Let’s find ways of understanding the struggle, and work to address it in ways that fit your life.

If you are struggling, I want to hear your story. I bring patience, creativity, and a passion for understanding you to every session. Come as you are; we can figure out the next steps together.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
