Megan McGregor

She/Her/Hers

Megan works with individuals, couples, and families ages 12 and up. She specializes in grief, couples therapy, and women’s reproductive health through the lifespan (including puberty, PMS, PMDD, infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause). She also enjoys working with client’s experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, religious trauma, chronic health conditions, and family of origin trauma. She approaches therapy through a systemic lens and utilizes Narrative, Mindfulness, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing therapeutic models. She has a strong focus on social justice and enjoys working with clients who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Megan's first focus in therapy is building rapport. Beginning therapy requires vulnerability and courage. She considers the 3 key ingredients of trust, humor, and curiosity as crucial in building the therapeutic relationship. She is a therapist who meets people where they are at and comes alongside them on their journey. She believes clients are the experts of their lives and views the role of therapist as an honor. Her approach tends to be laid back and informal.

Megan is married and has 3 kids. Despite the cold winters, she loves Minnesota and has called it home her entire life. She enjoys family time at the cabin, attending live concerts, singing karaoke, and spending time outdoors.
