I believe when given a safe and supportive place to explore our experiences and ourselves, we have the ability to gain awareness of our potential.

I believe when given a safe and supportive place to explore our experiences and ourselves, we have the ability to gain awareness of our potential.

As a therapist, I strive to encourage autonomy, advocacy and personal growth within the individuals that I have the opportunity to work with.

I am passionate in working with individuals to address PTSD symptoms, traumatic experiences, concerns with substance use, coming out and exploring gender. I am poly friendly and enjoy working within the LGBTQIA+ communities.

I primarily work with adults. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, and operate from an Existential/Humanistic therapeutic approach, to provide an environment conducive to progress toward your goals in therapy. I have certification in Prolonged Exposure Therapy and am also EMDR trained, these modalities primarily serve to address trauma.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
