Intern Therapist

My goal is to help you navigate through those seasons and come out stronger on the other side.

I know from personal experience that relationships can have difficult seasons—and it can feel intimidating and vulnerable to reach out for help. My goal is to help you navigate through those seasons and come out stronger on the other side. My own experience of growth in therapy led me to pursue my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in order to help others grow and thrive in their relationships with themselves, their partners, and their families. I have a mindful, eclectic, and strengths-based approach that includes experiential learning and self-compassion. I enjoy tailoring therapy to the needs and interests of my clients and empowering them to discover how much they already know. I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. I have particular interests in premarital counseling, working with couples in crisis, and I can provide faith-based counseling if desired. I am a certified facilitator for Prepare/Enrich, and a member of AAMFT and MAMFT.

Understanding our relational  approach can give you a sense of how psychotherapy can help. Unlike counseling and other types of therapy, it takes a perspective that’s both deeper and broader. By focusing on emotions, it seeks to discover hidden pieces of who you are and then to understand how those pieces fit together.
