Now Accepting New Clients
Anita is a warm, compassionate therapist who believes that meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe enough to be fully yourself. She creates a nonjudgmental space where clients can let go of the masks they may have learned to wear and feel genuinely heard and understood. Her hope is that clients leave therapy not only with greater insight and practical tools, but feeling lighter, more grounded, and more accepting of themselves.
With more than 25 years of experience in mental health, Anita works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship changes, divorce and breakups, identity shifts, and other significant life transitions. She especially enjoys working with people who feel stuck or have struggled with the same patterns for years, helping them explore what may be underneath those patterns and consider new perspectives and possibilities. Her approach is integrative and draws from cognitive and behavioral therapies, DBT, EMDR, and emerging somatic and mind-body approaches, while also incorporating specialized training in psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Anita believes that our relationships, attachment patterns, family experiences, and the stories we carry about ourselves can offer valuable insight into how we move through the world. Therapy can be an opportunity to understand those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment and to begin making choices that feel more aligned with your values, relationships, and sense of self. She considers it a privilege to accompany clients as they navigate the unexpected turns of life, reconnect with what brings them meaning and joy, and create a life that feels authentically their own.
Outside of her work, Anita loves spending intentional time in nature, whether hiking or simply slowing down to notice what is around her. She also enjoys dancing, creating art, reading, discovering new things, sharing good food with friends, and spending time with animals.
