Mackenna Sullivan, MSW, LGSW under supervision

She/Her/Hers

Locations: The Lakeside Center

Mackenna is a prelicensed therapist with a background in social work who believes therapy works best when it is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in each client’s unique strengths, goals, and experiences. Mackenna takes a creative and flexible approach, helping clients build practical tools to navigate everyday life, grow, and thrive. She wants every client to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their therapeutic journey.

Mackenna works with children, including children under age 6, adolescents, young adults, families, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and neurodivergent individuals. She draws from several therapeutic approaches, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family systems therapy. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, she adapts therapy to meet each client’s needs.

Outside of therapy, Mackenna enjoys traveling, trying new foods, being creative, playing card games, serving as a foster parent, and spending time with her dog.

Mackenna is working under the licensed supervision of Jenna Dorshner MSW, LICSW, while pursuing clinical licensure as an LICSW.
