Alexis Miller, M.S., LPC

She/Her/Hers

Locations: 3112 Hennepin; Telehealth

Alexis’ therapeutic approach is calm, direct, and practical–blending evidence-based tools with real conversation. She views therapy as a collaborative process and that therapy is always tailored - not one-size-fits-all. Alexis utilizes humor, compassion, and empathy to provide a supportive and judgment-free environment where clients can feel comfortable being their authentic selves.

Alexis loves to work with teens (13+), college students, and adult clients. She works with issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and trauma. She specifically has a passion for working with body image and eating concerns, and utilizes the Health At Every Size (HAES) framework. She uses aspects from a variety of modalities such as CBT, DBT, client-centered therapy, and attachment theory.

Outside the therapy office, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and friends (and her black lab Luna!), going to the lake, listening to music and podcasts, and binge-watching her favorite shows.

Alexis is working toward LPCC licensure under the licensed supervision of Lauren Johnson, M.A., LPCC.
