She/Her/Hers

Locations: Telehealth; Union Plaza

Gwen Scherr, MA, LMFT, CYT, is a marriage and family therapist who specializes in supporting couples, families, and individuals from birth to death who may be tired of just coping through life & looking to thrive.

Gwen is trained in CBT, EMDR, Polyvagal & Neuroscience-informed care, Narrative therapy, Culturally responsive therapy & Somatic therapy. She approaches therapy as a space for both reflection and transformation—where stories can be gently unpacked, moved through, rewritten, and reclaimed. Gwen supports clients in listening not only to what is spoken, but to what is held in the body: the patterns, protections, and longings that often live just beneath the surface.

Gwen loves supporting couples, whether it’s supporting them with pre-marital counseling or enriching their love story. She is a Prepare/Enrich couples facilitator, Gottman Level 1 therapist & trained in Relational Life therapy. Gwen helps partners find their way back to one another—strengthening communication, tending to moments of rupture, and cultivating deeper emotional connection.

Her style is collaborative, attuned, and deeply affirming. She offers a space where clients can slow down, make meaning of their experiences, and begin to live and relate with greater intention. At the heart of her work is a belief that healing unfolds in connection to self, to others, and to the stories we are still becoming.
