Whether you’ve been planning on getting around to seeking therapy for some time or have just been struggling lately, the fact that you’re here is a good sign that you’re motivated enough to get something out of therapy that is worth the effort. Whatever your motivations are, Kevin can offer you a safe environment where you can be yourself and feel heard, allowing your own inner capacity for healing and growth to emerge. He utilizes a person-centered approach, with a strong belief in client autonomy and the transformative power of the therapist/client relationship.
Kevin is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with clients in mental and chemical health from a variety of backgrounds for many years. He has experience helping clients experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, trauma, and substance use. Kevin draws on techniques from multiple therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Informed Therapy. He is currently pursuing certification in Internal Family systems (IFS).
Aside from his clinical career, Kevin’s background also includes many years in Corporate IT as well as teaching piano and guitar. Kevin has a home in St. Paul with his wife and their two cats.
