Maya works with individuals to promote insight, healing, skill building, and empowerment with the ultimate goal of cultivating joy. She values a holistic, integrative approach to support clients in developing greater awareness of the mind/body connection. Maya’s approach to therapy is grounded in Adlerian theory. She strives to meet the unique needs of each individual by creating a safe, warm, welcoming environment.

Maya believes each individual to be the expert of their own life experience. Her role is to encourage the truth of that expertise to bring forward one’s strength with integrity. Maya always takes care to incorporate a social justice lens in her work and enjoys supporting all who walk through the door, celebrating how you personally identify. Furthermore, she is committed to deepening her own sense of cultural responsiveness in order to tailor the care to meet your individual needs.

Maya brings with her over ten years of experience working in a variety of settings, including day treatment for children, a domestic abuse center, a sexual violence center, and an integrative wellness clinic. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, families, couples and individuals.
