Neve Patterson, MSW, LICSW
She/Her/Hers
Locations: Highland Park; Telehealth
Neve is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who works with adolescents and adults, prioritizing safe connection for emotional exploration and collaboration for meaningful growth. She has experience working with clients navigating eating disorders, anxiety and perfectionism, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and personality-related concerns that impact self-esteem and relationships.
In therapy, Neve aims to create a space where clients can authentically be themselves, receive real and honest feedback, and feel understood without judgment. She is eclectic in her use of different treatment modalities, but primarily works from the lenses of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. She thoughtfully tailors her approach and incorporates creative interventions based on each person’s unique experiences. At the end of the day, she believes we all want to feel seen and supported in a way that works best for us.
At the heart of Neve’s work is the belief that human connection, honest reflection, and self-empowerment matter more than adhering to a predetermined timeline for progress. She brings curiosity, openness, and genuine care to that process, with a soft but direct and humorous communication style. Outside of therapy, Neve enjoys going to live music shows of all kinds, being spontaneous with adventures, and loves a good laugh. She is passionate about the human right to live safely and freely, equitable access to supportive resources, and creating affirming spaces for LGBTQ+, BIPOC/AAPI, disabled, neurodivergent, and kink communities.
