Rebecca is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been practicing psychotherapy in the Twin Cities since 2011 as a CADI case manager, adult foster care home manager, outpatient psychotherapist in IRTS, Youth Programs, Community-based psychotherapy programs (ARMHS and CTSS), and private practice.  She specializes in working with individuals who are adopted or have been in foster care.  She has 15 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples who have bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety, depression, attachment disorders, and grief and loss.  Her therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, creative, and dynamic, as she continuously strives to cultivate transformational change in her clients.

Rebecca utilizes a variety of methods in her practice, such as somatic-based and Polyvagal Theory therapies, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, strength-based, and choice-driven.  She encourages her clients to discover their autonomy and independence in their own healing processes, while providing guiding support and care.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys hiking and camping with her husband.  She is an avid reader and internet researcher.  She loves trying new recipes and cooking and baking from scratch, as well as entertaining and spending time with friends.  Rebecca is excited to work with you to discover the unlimited healing and growth that is possible when working together with you in an expansive, opportunistic therapeutic alliance.
