Sophie Gershone, She/Her/Hers
Locations: Telehealth
Sophie is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life's challenges while building greater confidence, self-understanding, and resilience. Through her experiences working with clients across the lifespan, she has supported clients facing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, substance use, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.
In her clinical work, Sophie strives to create an authentic and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and developing a deeper understanding of themselves. She believes meaningful change happens through collaboration and works alongside clients to build on their strengths, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and create realistic, values-driven steps toward lasting growth. Throughout the therapeutic process, she remains mindful of the cultural and relational factors that shape each person's experiences and healing journey. Outside of the therapy room, Sophie enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and exploring local restaurants.
Sophie is working under the licensed supervision of Erica Nesvig, MA, LPCC, while she pursues licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
