Taylor Nash
Taylor Nash is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Minnesota and accepts telehealth clients from all PSYPACT states. Taylor is passionate about creating a safe, calming space allowing you to explore all aspects of your life free of judgement.
It has been an honor for her to work with people belonging to many groups expanding across different intersections of culture, race, gender, sexuality, especially through transitional phases of life. Taylor uses an existential approach to find out what is important to you and help you make choices to live in alignment with your values and goals.
Taylor believes that it is important to slow down, dive deep into the past, and explore how early experiences impact the present day. She cares deeply about women’s healthcare, including pregnancy, pregnancy loss, infertility, postpartum anxiety and depression, family planning, bodily autonomy, advocating for oneself in medical settings, and living childfree by choice.
Therapy and self care can be hard work, Taylor wants to help you find what works best for you and to know that you do not have to shoulder these things alone. Taylor uses evidence-based practices like relational therapy, brief psychodynamic psychotherapy, and cognitive-behavioral interventions to address various mental health concerns, as well as integrating tailored interventions that support person-centered care. Taylor may also incorporate mindfulness, breathing techniques, guided meditations, and sensory grounding to help bring awareness to your experience in the moment. Then, she will encourage you to translate these feelings into words to communicate with others.
In her downtime, Taylor enjoys dancing, cooking, traveling, spending time with her partner and cat, as well attending drag performances and concerts. And sometimes she enjoys the complete opposite: staying home, taking naps, reading books, and being alone.
